2. What the website provides

The website allows visitors to browse and search health-related articles, illustrations, audio and audiovisual materials, and to find information about authors and consultation locations. The professional section identifies resources that an orthopaedic surgeon, another physician or a physiotherapist may use.

These functions are free and do not require an account. The website does not operate its own sales, payment or patient booking system. Appointments arranged by telephone or through external booking services follow the rules of the relevant healthcare provider.

The website does not accept new public comments. Enquiries about its operation can be sent to the contact address provided.

3. Starting and ending use

The electronic service of providing a requested page or material begins when you use that function. You may stop at any time by closing the page or stopping playback. No notice or fee is required.

These terms are available free of charge. You can save or print them using your browser.

4. Technical requirements and acceptable use

You need an internet-connected device and an up-to-date browser supporting HTTPS and HTML5. Some interactive features require JavaScript. Playback requires audio or video support. Internet connection charges are governed by your agreement with your provider.

You must not provide unlawful content or use the website in a way that infringes others’ rights, compromises security or disrupts its operation. This includes unauthorised access attempts, malicious code and deliberate interference with availability.

Use current software and protect your device against unauthorised access. Necessary maintenance may temporarily limit availability.

5. Medical content

Materials are provided for information and education. They do not constitute an individual diagnosis, treatment plan, assessment of suitability for surgery or medical consultation. Decisions about personal health require consideration of symptoms, examination and the individual’s circumstances.

The website is not an emergency service. Further information is provided in the medical disclaimer (in Polish).

We take care when preparing content, but medical knowledge and the availability of healthcare services can change. You can report an error using the website contact address.

6. Rights in materials

Materials may be protected by law, including copyright, related rights, image rights and rights in names or marks. Rights belong to the relevant rights holders, depending on the description, source and legal status of the material.

You may share links and use materials within the limits allowed by law, including lawful quotation where its conditions are met. Use beyond those limits requires an appropriate legal basis or the rights holder’s permission. Availability online does not itself grant an unrestricted licence to redistribute a material.

7. External services

Links to healthcare facilities, publications, booking services and external platforms help users find further information. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Referring to a facility or publication is not a guarantee that a particular service is available or that treatment will have a particular result.

8. Complaints about website operation

You can send a complaint about the website to pobozytomasz@gmail.com or by post to the service provider’s address. Describe the problem and identify the page. If possible, give the time of the problem and your device or browser type. Provide contact details for a reply. Do not send medical records when reporting a technical fault.

We respond without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving a complaint. Missing supporting details do not automatically invalidate a complaint; where necessary, we will ask for clarification.

This procedure concerns the website’s electronic services. Complaints about healthcare should be addressed to the provider that delivered it, under its complaints procedure and applicable patient rights.

9. Liability and updates

The service provider’s liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

These terms may be updated when website functions, service provider details or legal requirements change. The effective date is stated at the top. A new version does not retrospectively change the terms governing services already performed.

Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy, and technologies stored on your device in the cookie policy.
