FOR DOCTORS AND PHYSIOTHERAPISTS
Postoperative orthopaedic rehabilitation protocols
A library organised by body region and type of procedure.

The individual case, the individual patient, the individual surgeon. The name of an operation is only a starting point. Postoperative care depends on the actual extent of repair, tissue and bone quality, the stability achieved, the technique used, concomitant procedures and the course of healing.
If details of the operation are incomplete, weight-bearing, range of motion and strengthening should not be advanced independently. The documented procedure and the orthopaedic surgeon’s instructions take priority.
