FOR DOCTORS AND PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Hip and pelvis

Rehabilitation after arthroplasty, revision surgery, labral and tendon repairs, and selected bone procedures.

Physiotherapist guiding controlled hip movement during postoperative rehabilitation. Medical content prepared by: Tomasz Poboży - orthopaedic surgeon.

Protocols and individual care

The individual case, the individual patient, the individual surgeon. The rehabilitation plan should reflect what was actually performed during surgery, rather than its name alone. Tissue condition, bone quality, the stability achieved and concomitant procedures determine the pace of progression.

Missing surgical details do not justify independently accelerating rehabilitation or disregarding weight-bearing restrictions. The operative report and the orthopaedic surgeon’s individual instructions remain the reference.

Available protocols

This section brings together material on common hip and pelvic operations. Specific recommendations may differ even when the procedure has the same name.

Educational material for professionals. It does not replace individual clinical assessment or the operating surgeon’s instructions.
